Hello, and thank you for taking the time and having the courage to seek out a counselor! To help you find your best fit, I work with adults, as individuals, couples, and groups. I work with people dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, grief/loss, suicide/self-harm, parenting, self-esteem, and abuse/neglect. While I specialize in Christian Counseling, I also work with many people who prefer not to incorporate their faith in the therapeutic process. My style tends to lean toward Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping people overcome self-defeating thought patterns. I’ve been in private practice for 20 years.
My passion is to see hearts healed, to help people discover who they are truly meant to be. Overcoming obstacles is challenging and takes tremendous courage, but is always worth it! I work with each person individually to determine a style and technique that works best for that person's specific needs and personality.
Change can be hard, but easier when you have someone you can trust to walk you through that process. My hope is that you leave each session feeling like your time was well spent and you gained wisdom, strength and encouragement for your journey. I am excited at the prospect of working with you!
