I have an extensive and unique clinical experience with more than 15 years in inpatient and outpatients settings. I have helped many individuals with assorted emotional problems, including PTSD, mood and adjustment disorders, grief, anger, ADHD, and borderline personality disorder. I also serve as a mental health consultant for childhood and early childhood programs in Fairfax where I provide play therapy for young children with emotional and behavioral problems and parents' consultations.
My main goal is not only assisting clients to gain insight into their problems but also empowering them to make the desired changes they seek to make in their lives.
I feel that anxiety underlies most of our behaviors and life decisions. In my therapy sessions, I am inclined to put a great emphasis on investigating, along with client, the origins of their fears until they feel relief and free in short period of time. In addition, I am fluent in Arabic, English and Hebrew.
