Devoted to providing therapy to individuals, couples and families of all ages and populations, I have numerous years of experience in a variety of settings including private practices in the Northern VA area, substance abuse treatment centers and most recently, the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB). I have a personal interest in working with severe-mental illness and running Dialectal Behavior Therapy Groups.

I am a license eligible clinical psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents and adults. I'm trained in play and individual therapy for issues ranging from anxiety and mood disorders to ADHD, autism spectrum and other behavioral disorders. Some of specialties include psychological trauma (sexual/physical abuse, neglect) and LGBT issues. I also conducts psychological evaluations and assessments to help develop a more clear mental health diagnosis. I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed her clinical internship at Pennsylvania Counseling Services.

Lori is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed professional counselor who works with individuals, families, and children. She earned her master's degree from Virginia Tech in Family and Child Development and is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She has over 20 years of experience. Ms. Bain's specialties include work with school age children, couples issues, personal stress, grief, and depression. She also has significant experience working in the areas of play therapy, and with children with developmental delays. Ms. Bain participates in virtual therapy.
