My practice is built on the belief that anxiety, conflict and self doubt do not have to be an all encompassing part of anyone’s everyday life. My passion is to work with teens, couples, individual adults, and families. I utilize a cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, strength-based, solution-focused and culturally sensitive approach to counseling. I believe taking part in therapy is courageous and shows a willingness to grow and make positive change. I am continually impressed by the resilience of my clients and consider it my privilege to provide therapy.
I offer individual, family and couples counseling. I also offer peer support groups for teenagers. In a constantly-connected, social media-fueled world, the normal pressures of growing up are magnetized and often inescapable. Groups help teens learn to build their emotional vocabulary and identify social cues so they can gain confidence and feel empowered.
My goal is to create a warm, empathetic and safe atmosphere in which my clients thrive. Every person deserves to feel comfortable, confident and content. I provide an environment to explore obstacles and identify strategies to improve one's quality of life.
