My name is Dr. Tsan and I'm medical doctor, certified hypnotherapist, homeopath, acupuncturist and reiki master. I am also the Medical Director of Philadelphia Holistic Clinic. In this clinic all holistic modalities reside under one roof. Holistic treatment is my specialty and I use it in my medical practice during the period of last 40+ years. The core concept of acupuncture is related to the qi energy that presents in our body. Hypnotherapy is a technique that combines the power of suggestion and an altered state of consciousness to change in behavior.

I believe that the most important and healing aspect of therapy is the relationship I develop with each of my clients. Whether you are seeking therapy for help with a specific problem or general dissatisfaction with your life, my first goal is always to establish an atmosphere of trust and openness so that you can talk freely about yourself. Therapy is not a quick fix, but sometimes even a few sessions can give you a different perspective. Being truly listened to is an experience people find very helpful from the very beginning.

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families addressing substance abuse, relationship, mood issues ( depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc). I often work with family members who have trouble motivating a loved one to consider treatment, or who want to learn about their loved one's condition and how to best support them. I value maintaining relationships with other providers, including psychiatrists, other therapists such as group therapists, couple therapists, inpatient treatment facilities, etc. as part of maintaining good coordination of your care as necessary.

As a Mental Health professional I was always sensitive to individuals' needs and oriented to help them overcome difficulties in their lives. I understand asking for help is a difficult step.
