If I'm thinking more specifically about my own experience, I think a lot about the individuals I supported who were actively using substances. They could identify the harmful impacts and want recovery but couldn't get through their initial ambivalence. These types of moments and individuals are so important to me.

I obtained my Master’s in Social Work from Springfield College and am a License Certified Social worker, LCSW. My primary expertise is in Addiction and Dual Diagnoses issues. Sarah is a compassionate Certified Interventionist and Recovery coach with Northeast Addictions Treatment Centers. Sarah has always had a life long passion for helping others, she attended Salve Regina and Simmons to pursue nursing but as someone who dealt with her own personal drug dependencies, she began her own personal recovery journey and found her calling to be a Recovery coach.
