Life can feel messy, especially when you're carrying multiple roles, identities, and expectations. I'm Bindhu Prasad, LMFT—a therapist, and fellow human walking alongside clients as they navigate parent-child struggles, ADHD, Autism, trauma, grief, and transitions. I work with children ages 5 and above, adults and couples on emotional processing, better communication and problem solving skills so they can pursue their goals with confidence. As a school therapist, I have supported students and families navigating IEPs, 504 Plans, and social-emotional development.
Before becoming a therapist, in leadership roles in the tech industry, I gained a firsthand understanding of the pressures related to work/life balance, burnout, identity, and belonging—especially within Bay Area communities. These intersections inform the way I show up for clients across all life stages.
My approach blends Mindfulness-based CBT, Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy(EFT) and Internal Family Systems.
