About
The most courageous and compassionate act one can perform is the request for help. People often believe if they pay attention to a problem that they will make it worse or that the pain associated with the problem will overwhelm them. Yet in my clinical experience and in my own life, the opposite is in fact true. The longer we ignore pain or a problem, the worse it gets.
I believe it is in the confronting of our problems that we begin to heal and discover that we are much stronger than we thought.
I am passionate about helping people to create an authentic life. Areas of particular focus are individuals dealing with anxiety and depression, difficulty with life transitions, prenatal anxieties and postpartum depression.
I also work with personal trainers, nutritionists and yoga instructors to strengthen the body. When the body is weak it has a huge impact on our psychological well-being and by strengthening it we are better able to deal with life's challenges.
