Welcome! At Bleakley Counseling LLC, we know that reaching out for help from someone you have never met can seem stressful and overwhelming. We will try our best to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible. With 16 years of experience, Tara Bleakley MA, LPC currently practices general counseling with a focus in the following areas: depression, anxiety, postpartum, pregnancy, women's issues, men's issues, parenting, blended family related issues, step-parenting, marital counseling, infidelity, infertility issues, and pre-teen/teenager related struggles.
I received my Masters Degree in Counseling from Louisiana Tech University in 2009. I utilize a variety of therapy techniques based off the individual needs of each client including CBT, DBT and Gottmann techniques for marital counseling.
I believe that therapy happens both inside and outside of the therapy session. I work to build a safe space for each client to work on the changes that they want to make in order to better their daily lives and relationships.
