My name is Blanca DiDonato and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over 20 years experience working with children, youth and families, as well as working in a Behavioral Health program integrated in a Primary Care setting. My approach to therapy is to provide brief therapeutic interventions that focus on the reduction of symptoms associated with stress, anxiety, and depression, using solution-focused strategies.
I typically work with the Latino/Hispanic community and have over 20 years' experience working with youth between the ages of 12-18 as well as with adults. the conditions I am most comfortable treating are mild to moderate symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment.
I am bicultural and able to relate well to the Latino population I serve. I offer culturally sensitive services which includes a supportive listening communication style. I also offer culturally appropriate strategies and approaches towards improvement and change. My tone is very much person-centered driven by a warm and friendly style of communication.
