Accepting new clients as of 1/25, including couples! I am trained in the Gottman method to help couples reach their full potential. I treat older teens, adults and couples. My areas of expertise include diagnosing and treating depression and anxiety, work-related issues, helping college students and their families through the transition into adulthood, post traumatic growth, spiritual struggles and counseling first responders (i.e., police officers, firefighter, and dispatchers). I love helping people get "unstuck"! I am also a musician, and love working with creative and artistic clients.
I am particularly interested in working with first responders (i.e., law enforcement officers, firefighters, dispatchers). I have developed trainings for therapists who work with first responders, and I am active in several crisis response networks. I have taught clinical classes to graduate social work students since 1998. I am trained in EMDR
I passionately believe that each person, regardless of age, past trauma, or life situation has the ability to grow and change. As a licensed clinical social worker, I see that challenges are often rooted in relationships and systems such as work, school, church, etc. I treat clients in a very holistic way, and utilize their strengths to help them.
