About
Hi! I'm Blake D. Osborne, L.C.S.W., a psychotherapist in Skokie, Illinois. I have over twenty-five years experience working with kids, teens, and parents. I also specialize in adults who have mood issues, relationship problems, work issues, or grief. I enjoy what I do! I am easy-going, flexible, accepting and down-to-earth. I use research-proven methods whenever possible. My goal is to make progress as simply and efficiently as possible. I won't try to keep in you therapy forever -- promise! We should make some definite progress in five-ten sessions.
You tell me what you want to change and I will create a clear, practical plan for how to do it. We focus on improving mood, behaviors, or relationships by changing problematic beliefs and increasing your abilities. When working with kids and teens, I often include their parents; they are part of the solution.
I am a network provider for the insurance companies listed. Thus, you frequently only pay a $10-$40 co-pay per session. My office is at a safe, convenient location, near the Old Orchard Exit of I-94/Edens Expressway. For more information, please go to my website: www.therapistblake.com.
