School just started and your teen is already struggling. They are anxious and depressed lack motivation, and cannot maintain focus. Your child is intelligent but under-performs in school. They might have suicidal thoughts, be self-harming, and turned to the internet, alcohol or drugs to cope. But, they won't talk to you about what is happening and you are concerned. I connect very well with adolescents and they open up to me.
I also have man adult clients, including those who suffer from what I call "life issues" like divorce/separation, mid-life "crises", career struggles and/or general existential angst. I am neurodivergent (ADHD) and know how difficult it is. I am also a bit of a nerd (my office might have some Pokemon in it) and freely embrace my youthful spirit.
I am trained in Level 1 of Internal Family Systems and have several clients who want to explore their internal world to become a more integrated and whole person.
