Therapy is a collaborative process where we work with clients to meet their personalized goals. OMFTC offers empathetic therapeutic care to children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. We operate from a systemic perspective which means we take into consideration a client's family, work, school, friends, and greater community to see how these systems may be impacting current issues. Behavioral Health Clinic (BHC) has locations in Fort Atkinson, Madison, Manitowish Waters, Marshfield, Wausau and Stevens Point Wisconsin. Our clinicians offer clinically proven, empirically-based treatment interventions for most mental health issues. The Family Center is a community-based, systemic therapy outpatient mental health center and the primary training location for Edgewood College's Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Program. We work both with Individuals and Relationships by providing a variety of services. We are LGBTQIA2S+ friendly and racial-justice minded. Our clients seek out services ranging from anxiety and depression, to alcohol and drug issues, to premarital/marital counseling and more. We work with people of all ages, all identities, and all issues!

We love to collaborate with clients to help them draw from their own expertise, build on their own positive values, discover their own skills, and use these new tools to work through conflicts and hardships. We are systems therapist. What that means is: we like to approach problems that people have within the context of social, political and cultural storylines that influence the way we view ourselves and our own personal stories. We use this same approach in family therapy to seek ways to change the way the family system works rather than trying to "fix" a specific family member.
