Client problems come in all shapes and sizes, with all kinds of different life experiences and reasons and needs. Problems are common in the world, and it is hard to shoulder the responsibilities set on our shoulders. It can feel lonely with the burden that people carry, and it seems reasonable to find ways to meet needs that are not being met. Sometimes these can be unhealthy habits that just cause more problems. Sometimes, it leads to a build up of pressure until everything is overwhelming and out of control. It disrupts our Serenity, and building this back up sometimes needs a helper.

I am Licensed Professional Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, and owner of Trilogy Counseling Services in Grafton, WI. I work with a wide range of issues including mental health disorders, unresolved emotional issues, self-esteem/self-empowerment, grief and loss, relationship/family concerns, couples counseling, individual counseling for personal and emotional growth, therapy to create more meaning and purpose in one’s life/living a more fulfilled life, and multiple other issues.

Hello, Some Highlights about myself: Retired from Department of Veterans Affairs; received the 'I care award' and numerous other recognitions. Earned Honors Associate Degree in Addiction Counseling, achieved Magna Cum Laude for my Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Completed Masters of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, have Specialized training in Gottman Therapy for Couples; completed Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 and completed Certification in Cognitive Behavioral Insomnia helping people sleep better. I also have Extensive experience with Anxiety disorders. Non judgmental safe environment with knowledgeable therapist.

As a psychologist, professional counselor, clinical substance abuse counselor, and music therapist, I have learned how much I enjoy working with people to help them overcome obstacles, develop techniques for them to live within the range of their personal capabilities, as well as pursue activities to complement and strengthen personal talents. I view the therapeutic alliance as one of the most complex and rewarding tools when working within the therapy setting. My two careers dovetail to give me the best opportunities to present clients with both traditional and non-traditional methods of working towards a lifestyle that is healthy.
