MySpectrum is an outpatient therapy practice located at 707 North Courthouse Road in North Chesterfield, Virginia. We offer outpatient counseling and coaching to any person, on any spectrum. We focus on the Autism Spectrum, Mental Health Spectrum, Substance Use Spectrum, and the Whole Life Spectrum. Our philosophy is that any person, regardless of situation, should have access to skilled Therapists who will truly meet you where you are at in your journey. To that end, each Therapist specializes in certain areas so that we can capture the needs of any person. We serve all of Virginia through Teletherapy.

As an LPC with 20+ yrs of experience, I feel honored to be able to work with many different clients during what is often a vulnerable time. I bring empathy and compassion to therapy sessions, which may focus on trauma, anxiety, depression, postpartum/perinatal mood disorders, eating disorders, infertility, parenting and addictions. I also work with grief and loss, including pregnancy and child loss. I specialize in navigating relationship crises, infidelity and narcissistic abuse. Many clients are LGBTQ+, and come in for gender affirming care. I am the founder of Falls Church Wellness Center, a mental & physical health facility.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker i Virginia with over 20 years of experience working as a Psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, woman's issues, career challenges, OCD. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma and abuse issues. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion.

Sandhya Sharma is a South Asian Indian LPC and certified addictions specialist who works with: Adults, Teens, LGBTQ community, and International Communities. Sandhya will help create a safe and supportive therapy environment and work with you collaboratively to both accurately assess your strengths as well as areas of struggle. She will develop a treatment plan with you to help you facilitate behavioral changes that more successfully meet your goals. Sandhya will help you look at the ways you have been currently coping with life’s problems and help you to develop new strategies from a strengths-based perspective. 

There are many different challenges in our busy day-to-day lives. It is my goal to assist individuals who are struggling to find their way, cope with a recent loss, build their strengths, and focus on empowering people to facilitate change. By offering a safe & supportive environment for my clients, I provide a holistic approach to therapy that helps individuals become aware of the mind-body connection. I have thorough knowledge & experience counseling children and adolescents, where I am able to connect with them at their level in order to help nurture their growth and help navigate them as they achieve their emotional milestones.

Established over 10 years ago, we originally opened as Prince William Family Counseling and provided the community with trustworthy therapy services in a safe, welcoming environment. In 2015 the agency was purchased and took on new ownership and we became Woodbridge Therapy Group. With the recent change in ownership, we have expanded our number of providers, added more services, and renewed our investment in the community.

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), a licensed professional counselor (LPC), a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and a certified substance abuse counselor (CSAC). I earned an MA in Social Work, MA in Correctional Counseling and a Ph.D. in Urban Services/Counseling. I provide therapy in a number of areas: serious mentally ill, marriage & family, drug/alcohol, adult Attention Deficit Disorder & family therapy. I also work with the LGBTQIA community.

Currently only accepting clients for extended session/intensive trauma work. As a therapist, I believe everyone is capable of fulfilling their true authentic self and realizing their maximum potential. The therapeutic relationship can serve as a catalyst for this change and my role as a therapist is to partner with you on this journey and to offer support and guidance. My experience is in working with adults with complex trauma. I believe the core condition of being human is forming relationships and we experience dysfunction and unhappiness when we experience disconnection.

Accepting New Clients I have a passion for helping people feel better. I offer a warm, empathic, nonjudgmental approach to treating my clients & always start where my client is at. I am client centered & recognize that every person is unique. Clients have often told me that they feel comfortable opening up to me as they find me down to earth & relatable. My work as a psychotherapist is rooted in a profound belief that by recognizing and honoring our complex, messy life stories with honesty and gentleness, we lay the foundation to heal the obstacles preventing us from building fulfilling, meaningful lives. Throughout life, we all create narratives about ourselves to help us survive. These narratives are shaped by myriad factors (individual life experiences, relationships, intergenerational legacies, and experiences of oppression/privilege, belonging/rejection, among others). Over time, our narratives and coping mechanisms fall short. We wonder, what went wrong? What's wrong with me?

I employ a conversational style to help clients discover the answers to their depression, anxiety, grief and other emotional distress in their lives. I believe that each individual has tools within themselves to resolve whatever challenge they are facing and my role is to guide them to look internally to find those tools. I am passionate about helping active duty military and Veterans, the African-American community, the LGBTQIA community, Neurodivergent individuals, immigrants, and other minority groups.
