Dr. Whitney Mascaro (she/her) is a compassionate and dedicated psychologist with a strong commitment to serving clients from diverse backgrounds. With expertise in a variety of therapeutic approaches, she primarily works from emotion-focused and attachment-based orientations. Depending on each person’s unique needs, she incorporates CBT, ACT, DBT, and IFS interventions. Dr. Mascaro specializes in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, chronic suicidality, trauma, survivors of violence, complex PTSD, relationship concerns, and sexual identity/LGBTQIA+ concerns.

My name is Shannon Toy (she/her), M.Ed, LCSW. I prefer to be called by my middle name, Julianne. I graduated with a Master of Education from Concordia University in 2015 and a Masters in Social Work from Simmons University in 2018. I work with a wide range of ages and populations including children, adolescents, adults, and families. I also specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ population.

I received my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville. I work with the following populations: children, adolescents, young adults and LGBTQIA+. I have worked with populations specifically with depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual abuse/assault, domestic violence survivors, among many other mental health challenges. I have a vast array of experience in the mental health field working in a residential, group home, and psychiatric inpatient settings with children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience working with individuals who have been in crisis and who have experienced trauma.
