My goal is to create a safe and comfortable environment for you to be able to work on issues that are causing difficulties in your life. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of our work together and my hope is that I can be a guide in helping you work through these issues by building a trusting and safe environment so that you can focus on the issues bringing you to therapy. My experience in working with trauma and abuse has been instrumental in helping me work successfully with survivors of different types of trauma and/or who may be struggling with post traumatic stress.
I have fifteen years of experience working with children and their families in various settings with most of my counseling experience being in child abuse, trauma, and PTSD. I have also worked successfully with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and family conflict.
