Currently only providing virtual sessions. I believe the most important part of counseling is the relationship between the counselor and client. I spend time getting to know each of my clients, so that I can tailor a healing plan, specifically for them, and make sure my clients are get the most impact from our sessions together. I specialize in working with trauma, gender and sexuality, BIPOC communities, those in non-traditional relationships, those dealing with depression and anxiety and adolescents. With over 19 years of experience providing a broad range of mental health services, my current practice strongly emphasizes providing therapeutic interventions for children with behavioral and emotional challenges, while also welcoming the opportunity to work with families, individuals and couples needing counseling services. CBT & Adlerian are my overarching modalities upon which I integrate other interventions tailored to clients' needs.

Dr. Jackson has a bachelors' and masters' degree in General Psychology from the University of Houston. Her Doctor of Philosophy Degree is in Clinical Adolescent Psychology from Prairie View A & M. She has been involved in clinical work for the past 21 years and a college professor for 16 years.
