In a world that continues to turn with or without us, we often wonder where we can get off in order to regroup. When we are expected to fulfill all of the everyday roles that we have taken on, we tend to lose touch with ourselves. My purpose is to provide an open, restorative and non-judgmental healing space for you. I am pleased to work with individuals who want help with anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. As well as providing support during life transitions, unexpected changes and personal growth.

Most sessions will be conducted via Telehealth. My goal is to help you gain the insight, clarity and understanding you seek to resolve relationship issues and/or decrease anxiety, depression and personality difficulties whether yours or those around you. I have many years of varied life experience including: having lived in Chad, Africa and Italy, raised a multi-cultural, blended family, went through divorce, step-children, life transitions and family of origin dysfunction. I am a LCSW (Licensed clinical social worker) since 2006 and have been employed with Samaritan Counseling since 2014.

Sometimes worry can feel like a never ending battle in one's head. Not feeling like yourself can lead to feeling stuck or lost. My work centers on supporting clients to recognize how the challenges of their lives impact their perspective and view of the world. My goal is to establish honesty and trust as we seek to understand which patterns are creating emotional discomfort. I work with clients on understanding how life stressors can managed and overcome through healing, developing skills, and living consciously.

I want to help others that are having a difficult time in their life. I have been in practice for over 20 years and I work with a wide variety of people, including those with depression and anxiety. I try to use a humanistic approach with pragmatic goal setting. At the first session, we will develop a plan to help assist your specific needs.

I can help you set healthier boundaries with family, work, friends, and lovers. Although I will likely retire in 2025, I will see current and previous clients and a short-term new client or two. Only telehealth appointments are open for the foreseeable future.
