My goal is to provide a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where I can assist you in processing and gaining control of your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, relationships, and lifestyle. I have an interest in working with children, teenagers, and young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, self-esteem, family conflicts, relationship problems, life transitions, and more. I am now available Monday thru Friday and have morning and afternoon availability.

I address all issues from the perspective of a person's environment. We all exist in the context of a family, a community and a culture. In therapy we often find that there is nothing wrong with us, depression, anxiety, etc., are not innate dysfunctions but rather result from conflict that arises in our environment. I like to help individuals, couples and families learn about these environments to better navigate them as well as learn about themselves and what it means to be who they are in the context of their environment.

You should be able to do this on your own, so making that call feels like failing. You have "no time for therapy", or you're already spread thin. You may have tried counseling before, you may feel that you have tried everything, but I believe my own life experiences and down to earth approach allows me to help you in a unique way. I AM currently accepting new clients. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I work from a psychotherapeutic perspective grounded in humanistic and modern psychoanalytic practice. I work with individuals to explore their current suffering, symptoms, problems, and relationships and how these themes are related to earlier patterns of experience. My focus is on gaining a deep understanding of the individuals I work with that pays great respect to the person’s unique personality style, cultural differences, differences in sexual orientation and gender experience, and unique relationship patterns.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has provided therapeutic services over the past 10 years in the following settings; A Community Treatment Team; Family Outpatient Services; Art Therapy at a Fine Arts Institution; and an Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Residential Treatment Facility. I have provided therapy to children, adolescents, adults and their families, helping them with anxiety and depression disorders, substance abuse, trauma, complicated grief, and anger management.

I have experience in treating anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, conflict, life transitions, behavior difficulties, parenting challenges, stress management, and relationship concerns, among other difficulties.

Weaving movement (yoga and walking), art, EMDR, and other non-traditional approaches into a talk-therapy space, I can help you move through discomfort to help you experience your real self - not just the version you have to throw together for everyone else.

As a Counselor and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (Advanced level), I support and hold space for the healing of all kinds of trauma. I don’t believe that people are “broken” or “need to be fixed”, but rather that somewhere within every person lies the capacity to generate change. I believe this change begins by finding someone trustworthy to support them through this process. And—that being kinder and gentler towards ourselves goes a long way to building the foundation for this change to occur.
