It takes a lot of Courage to seek help. For most, the journey begins when the struggle becomes overwhelming or unbearable. The Willingness to accept support & guidance usually does not come easy. I applaud anyone who does so. Basic human needs include survival, a sense of belonging, power, freedom and fun. When these elements are not in place or are out of balance, we can present as anxious, depressed, stressed out and angry. I work well with people who are wanting to gain clarity around imbalances, and who want to take action on making changes that align with, and help to maintain, personal integrity.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I can be helpful to folks who are wrestling with anxiety, codependence, grief & loss, stress & anger management, mental health and substance use. Navigating early adulthood & decision making, living authentically & finding purpose, coming to peace with self - all valid reasons to seek reflection, perspective and clarity.
