I work with neurodivergent (gifted, ADHD, autistic, highly sensitive, and more) adolescents and adults, as well as LGBTQ and gender creative people. Neurodivergent individuals often face unique challenges such as high levels of self-criticism, existential depression, and difficulty in finding peers. In addition, our sensitivity and intensity are often poorly misunderstood and misdiagnosed by mental health professionals.

My goal is to serve as a compassionate, safe guide for individuals who are interested in courageously exploring their inner world and integrating the experiences, emotions and beliefs that seem to block their full access to peace, joy, and productivity. I work with clients to create healthier, more satisfying relationships; alleviate depression and anxiety; reprocess trauma; heal complex developmental trauma and attachment wounds; explore identity and sexuality concerns; shift addictive behaviors; navigate medical/health issues; and grieve.

I have been a psychotherapist for over 30 years, so my practice has both depth and breadth. I have much experience working with depression and anxiety, addictions and recovery, all types of trauma, and relationship issues of all kinds. I welcome LGBTQ+ individuals, folx from non-dominant cultural backgrounds, and I enjoy working with individuals, couples, "pods," and families. My goal is the empowerment of everyone I serve.

For those of us who have experienced trauma, we have also experienced a secondary trauma by not having a secure attachment figure or sense of safety to help us co-regulate and repair. Our practice provides an accompanied space where you can feel safe(r) to process trauma and begin the lifelong journey towards healing. Hello! I'm currently accepting former clients and a small number of new clients as my practice is small. I work best with folx who are contending w/ depression, anxiety, and feelings of social or familial isolation. I'm comfortable with helping those who struggle with suicidal thoughts and self-harming. I've had successes in assisting families with increasing effective communication, individual self-harm reduction, and helping people to become more self-accepting. I am at ease with working with persons who have met grief of any kind, those who have experienced trauma, and anyone who just can't find their peace.
