I help clients deal with stressful life and work challenges, emotional struggles, and relationship difficulties. I provide treatment to adolescents and adults who are dealing with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, grief and loss, OCD, and anger management issues. I have gained invaluable history of training and expertise in helping couples, whether it involve infidelity, restoring intimacy, or problems in communication. I also work with people who cope with chronic illness and life cycle changes.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of presenting issues and specialize in treating eating disorders, body image disturbances, depression and other mood disorders, personality difficulties, relationship struggles, and anxiety/panic disorder. I also specialize in psychological/psychoeducational testing to assess learning abilities, attention, cognitive skills, and intelligence. My treatment approach is very individualized and I tend to focus on both current symptoms/behaviors and the origins of a person's struggles. I also believe in creating a relaxed and natural relationship full of compassion and humor.

I work with teens, and adults facing a range of mental health concerns from eating disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders and many other conditions. My treatment approach varies depending on the needs of the individual. While practicing modalities associated with traditional counseling methods, I am also an art therapist. I enjoy a holistic approach, paying attention to how the various elements of one’s life come together to impact the individual.

Mary Robinson is currently practicing with Mind Care Ohio, a multidisciplinary practice in Hudson, Ohio. She uses a highly individualized approach to meet her clients' needs and welcomes referrals of all kinds. Mary has special interest in working with eating disorders and body image disturbances, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and family/relationship stress. I have been on my own personal growth journey for the past 29 years and have integrated my learning in a way that it is easily shared with others. I practice mind/body/spirit healing and have been able to help others address all aspects of their addictive patterns, dependency issues, and mood/anxiety challenges. I facilitate a range of groups, including: Women's Empowerment, Parenting, and Step Family. I utilize many different techniques (per the client's comfort level). I support individuals through major life adjustments and death and non-death losses. Having spent many years as a Children's Bereavement Coordinator with various Hospice organizations, running grief support groups for adults, and as a member of the teaching team at the Creative Grief Studio, I am able to validate the various forms of grief and loss that many of us encounter throughout the lifespan. I also support clients in processing and managing symptoms related to anxiety and depressed mood. The most rewarding part of my work is partnering with clients to help them navigate meaningful lives after loss.
