Hi, I'm Kate! I'm an LCSW based in NYC and the lower Hudson Valley. Right now, I provide several telehealth-only services: counseling, life coaching, dating/sex coaching, and general psychotherapy. I have an MA in Human Sexuality from NYU, and a masters in Social Work from Fordham University, and ten years' clinical experience. I work with young adults, and adults, helping them with a variety of issues. However, my areas of focus include: sexuality, relationships, trans/nonbinary/gender identity issues; kink/poly/alt-lifestyle concerns. Coaching for artists & writers; career coaching, and weight management, bariatric surgery issues.

I am a School Psychologist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has worked with diverse clientele from many cultural, religious, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. Tynisha has previously worked as a Mental Health Clinician for over five years within higher education and an outpatient clinic that services Children and Families and two years in private practice. She is integrative and uses a variety of theoretical approaches to help treat clients, but most often uses CBT, DBT, Solution-Focus, Person-Centered and Psychodynamic therapeutic approaches.
