When difficult personal and family issues occur, working with a very experienced and well trained therapist can really help. I have been in practice for 35 years, helping individuals, couples and families find solutions to problems with anxiety, ADHD, depression, phobias, OCD and trauma related issues. We will work together to take a comprehensive evaluation of your situation, and then focus in on specific changes that will to improve things. Our work may utilize individual, couples, family work, or a combination of these modalities. I work collaboratively with other professionals and school staff as needed.
I strive to work in a warm, respectful, empathic manner, so that you feel comfortable, safe and engaged in the process. We will focus in on core issues in order to quickly achieve meaningful changes. I mix various long and short term techniques, including, insight oriented, CBT, DBT, EMDR, relaxation and mindfulness approaches tailored to you.
We can work virtually form the comfort of your home, or in my Katonah office. Many clients find this flexibility very helpful in fitting therapy sessions in with their busy lives.
