The New Hope Mental Health Counseling Services is a group practice staffed by a mixed group of licensed clinicians trained to handle every area of life. We believe there is hope and answers. At Rockland County Counseling, we offer psychotherapy for children, adults & couples. We start with a free 15 minute consultation providing an outline of your concerns in real time. We then complete a bio-psycho-spiritual-social to help us move through a framework of your life forming a deeper understanding of your overall construct. We then incorporate both CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) to treat post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, self-esteem, substance use, adolescent challenges and life transitions.

I believe in utilizing psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy. However, my practice also focuses on changing the neural pathways that can become distorted when we experience trauma. With the help of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we can work to heal childhood trauma, adult PTSD, and distorted thinking that limits joy and growth in your life. Additionally, I have experience with supporting clients with cognitive integration after a psychedelic treatment. I can support you in taking control of both your body and mind.
