I further honed my expertise with a postgraduate degree from the Albert Ellis Institute.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) offering services to children, adolescents and adults. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with trauma, substance abuse disorders, domestic violence, sexual abuse/ assault, variety of mental health disorders and addressing everyday life challenges.

Dr. Michele Winchester-Vega and Associates is a group private practice with over 10 LICENSED professionals that specialize in a variety of modalities and treatment specialties. Treatment is offered to those aged 6 and above and individual, family and group modalities are available. We are involved in teaching and hold faculty positions as well as providing consultation/ supervision to other professionals.

The Hudson Valley Center for Development is a Mt. Sinai associated mental health services practice created in 2007 to meet the emotional needs of adults, children, adolescents, and families in Orange County and the lower Hudson Valley. I remember my own experience meeting my new therapist. I was anxious to talk to a new person. I did not know if I would make sense. I did not want to feel judged.
