Dr. Michele Winchester-Vega and Associates is a group private practice with over 10 LICENSED professionals that specialize in a variety of modalities and treatment specialties. Treatment is offered to those aged 6 and above and individual, family and group modalities are available. We are involved in teaching and hold faculty positions as well as providing consultation/ supervision to other professionals.

The Hudson Valley Center for Development is a Mt. Sinai associated mental health services practice created in 2007 to meet the emotional needs of adults, children, adolescents, and families in Orange County and the lower Hudson Valley. Our warm and experienced staff provide in person psychotherapy and tele-therapy.

I am a clinical psychologist who has been practicing for about 25 years. I am very invested in the work I do and I believe my clients feel that from me. I work with people in a compassionate, nonjudgmental way. I am currently a candidate at the NYU Postdoctoral Program for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. My practice is on the Upper West Side and I am treating people in person and via telehealth. I see people for assessments, in individual therapy as well as couples therapy. I also am beginning some groups (see below).

With the help of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we can work to heal childhood trauma, adult PTSD, and distorted thinking that limits joy and growth in your life. Additionally, I have experience with supporting clients with cognitive integration after a psychedelic treatment. I can support you in taking control of both your body and mind.
