If you are experiencing personal conflict or crisis, or find that a problem continues to surface in your life despite your best efforts to solve it, I can help. My principal goal is to help you and/or your family members find effective solutions to get through difficult times and get back on track. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive specialized training and over 23 years of experience in crisis management and teaching practical coping and interpersonal skills. I provide a solution-focused, flexible and time-limited approach to problem solving in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental and private setting.
While trained in a numerous therapeutic techniques, I consider the quality of the therapy relationship (e.g., rapport, trust, connection and collaboration) to be what is most important. From this foundation, I find coping strategies and approaches (DBT, CBT, IFS and Buddhist Psychology) very effective in helping people adapt, grow and thrive.
If you're looking for someone who is solution-focused and sensitive, but also direct, practical, has a sense of humor and has extensive experience helping people through challenging times, consider contacting me for a free free phone consultation. While I don't accept insurance, I can offer a sliding-scale and assistance with out of network reimbursement.
