I am passionate about working with men and women ages 18 years-old to older adults who are navigating life’s challenges, who feel blue, overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, angry, who are not able to concentrate in college or at the workplace, who are unsettled due to their trauma and utilize bad coping skills. I help individuals grow while they feel stuck and shut down. I provide various forms of therapeutic treatment, not just talk therapy. Jane has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Prior to starting in the mental health field 6 years ago, Jane spent 27 years working in long term care and ran grief and loss and caregiver support groups. Jane also has experience working with the special needs population and has an adult son with Autism so she has personal experience advocating for this population and an understanding of the challenges faced by this population and their families.
