Life comes with numerous peaks and valleys. Specifically, I work with clients who are interested in exploring the connection between early childhood/adolescent experiences and how these moments impact adult lives and relationships. All of us carry our histories - and moments of both joy and sorrow - with us as we move through the world. It's useful to examine any patterns in our thought processes and behavior in order to identify ways to move forward, confront challenges, increase self-awareness and - perhaps most importantly - offer ourselves compassion for our previous experiences.
Having worked with adults in both hospital and outpatient settings, I have learned to deeply understand the variety of hardships that my clients face. I received training in Bowen Family Theory and Schema Therapy, which provides me with a fruitful foundation to explore attachment-related issues throughout the lifespan.
