LIFE PSYCHOTHERAPY is a private psychotherapy practice offering counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, elderly, couples, families, and groups. Since each person is unique, the approach to therapy is unique as well, combining existential philosophy with cognitive behavioral tools. The outcome empowers a person to feel empowered to take concrete actions in order to change or cope with their current level of distress, and achieve success in improving his/her life. Along with Psychotherapy we provide a variety of psycho-educational workshops to enhance personal growth and development without any stigma attached to psychotherapy.

The Koch Center (located in Montclair, Waldwick, Morristown, & Englewood) specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Therapy and Programs for Adults, Adolescents, Middle Schoolers, and Families. Our Intensive DBT Programs offer an opportunity to receive extensive support and expert treatment in an outpatient setting. We treat the full range of psychological issues (including Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Impulse Control Disorders, Eating Disorders, Trauma, Relationship Problems, Personality Disorders). We have a Trauma Program for adults. We also offer individual therapy from varying theoretical orientations.

Transitions can be so difficult for us. If you are struggling with adjusting to a major life change, such as the end of a relationship or a significant loss, I can help you work through the challenges you are having and guide you in processing your feelings. If you are having difficulty within your relationship, I can work with you either individually or as a couple to improve communication, reconnect and understand each other better. If you are feeling depressed or anxious, I work closely with you to find the most effective ways to feel better.
