I am a warm, caring, compassionate professional with a special interest in working with adults, children, adolescents, and families. I am dedicated to helping individuals find their strengths, accept their flaws, and motivate themselves to make positive changes in their lives. I help people make goals, motivate themselves to change, and find ways to implement strategies to make those adjustments in their lives.

Hi beautiful people. I specialize in supporting couples manage the stressors of everyday life and work through their most challenging issues and individuals going through a major shift in life, including break-ups. I use an approach to therapy rooted in family systems, cognitive therapy, and a social justice orientation. I graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Sociology and from UPENN with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I look forward to connecting.

Accepting new clients! Dr. Jeff’s wide range of clinical experience entails adolescents, adults, and elderly clients. While pursuing his doctorate in clinical psychology, he completed an externship at the Rutgers College Counseling Center where he worked with college students and spent two years at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in New York City where he received psychoanalytic training and supervision in individual psychodynamic psychotherapy. Jeff is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a permit to practice psychology in NJ.

With over 30 years of clinical experience, my enthusiasm for my work has only grown. I view my role as a facilitator, helping people discover individual strengths while becoming accepting and respectful of vulnerabilities. Learning healthy ways to survive major life crises and/or chronic conditions is also a focus. I teach effective communication skills to increase understanding and respect for differences while enhancing growth in connection. If asked about my greatest asset as a therapist, it is my ability to "listen," and to provide a safe place for exploration and resolution.

I am a depression and anxiety therapist in New Jersey. I am dedicated to providing personalized care that addresses the needs of my patients and aims to create a therapeutic environment that is supportive and comfortable. Furthermore, I am committed to providing the best care possible for each of my patients and strive to create a healing and supportive environment. As a result, many of my patients have referred friends and family members to me, which is an additional testament to my excellence.

Initially, I started out as a child therapist but then went on to study 5 years of post graduate work in adult psychoanalysis. Today I work with all populations. More recently I have been focusing my studies and practice on the trauma of living through a pandemic.
