My name is Shaynna Hunter, LCSW I have been providing counseling services for over 19 years. If you are feeling anxious, sad, worried, and uncertain as to what to do to feel better, I can help. We will work together to uncover the past/present issues in your life where you feel stuck. I will assist you with developing healthy coping skills to successfully reduce and/or eliminate anxiety and feelings of depression. I have a therapeutic style that is supportive, empathetic and engaging.
I offer individual, family and couples therapy. I have experience working with clinical issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, anger management an sexual identities. I have an extensive background working with children experiencing behavioral challenges.
Professionalism, communication, and quality therapeutic services are my strengths. I received my Advance Clinical Practice Certification from New York University Post Masters Program. Modes of treatment include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Behavioral Modification and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am accepting new patients.
