I have more than 2 decades of experience working with individuals and families in a variety of settings. My philosophy is that good mental health only occurs within a cultural context. As an anti-oppressive therapist, I employ a strength-based culturally sensitive, and holistic approach that allows me to support you through conflict and change.
I provide counseling to adults and adolescents. I specialize in helping individuals build self-esteem and confidence, resolve personal conflicts, decrease anxiety and depression, and resolve core issues related to post-traumati stress disorder (PTSD). I have successfully partnered with adolescents and adults to overcome life challenges.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy practice that allows individuals to recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms. As a trained EMDR psychotherapist, I will assist individuals in processing past traumas.

The College Code
A four-week virtual coaching and training program for college bound 1st year students and their parents. Student and parent sessions will run concurrently to allow for a parallel process. The curriculum includes: The new college student experience, Mental and emotional wellness, Supporting students during the first year, Goal setting and accountability exercises, and Life coaching sessions for students and parents. Groups starting July 2023.
