I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol Drug Counselor with more than a decade of experience in mental health and substance abuse fields in community-based and hospital settings. I have worked extensively with adolescents/teens and adults during this time, in inpatient and outpatient settings. Professionally, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Seton Hall University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University.
Clinically, I identify as a "Strengths-based Solution-focused Clinician" that strives to empower my clients therapeutically to achieve their goals. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic disciplines, to meet my client's therapeutic needs where they are in the moment, through a loving-kindness approach.
My experience focuses on relational issues, divorce, low self-esteem/mood disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief/loss and substance abuse issues. I also have served on several professional advisory boards, task forces and committees within State of New Jersey related to mental health and substance abuse.
