My specialty is working with adolescents who are struggling with low self esteem, depression, and situational challenges. Life is hard, and adolescence can be full of unforeseen issues. I work with clients and their families to improve communication, and create a manageable dynamic at home. Teens and adolescents need help developing healthy coping skills, and challenging negative thoughts. My job is to teach them these skills so they can utilize them in the real world.
I have experience working with both adolescents and adults with mood, thought, and personality disorders. I choose to focus on my clients strengths, and connect them to resources that can improve their quality of life.
Group therapy is a valuable tool for struggling adolescents. My goal is to offer small group therapy sessions for clients. Increasing connection and decreasing isolation is so important during difficult times. Please feel free to contact me with any group recommendations or inquiries.
