I have worked with couples, families, and individuals for 25 years helping to heal from trauma, affairs, and early life experiences that get in the way of having warm loving relationships and individual joy. It can be challenging to take the first step to move toward a better and more fulfilling life. Often we fear judgement. I can help you develop an understanding of the issues that are keeping you from living the best life possible. I will work with you to identify the underlying barriers and develop problem solving skills and strategies to cope with issues outside of your control.

I find that a client is best served when they are listened to, validated, but also challenged to make positive change. That is why I take a cognitive behavioral approach to the counseling I do. I'm a pre-licensed professional working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). I'm working under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Prior to joining the Counseling Associates team, I worked at a college counseling center and supported students with a wide variety of presenting concerns. In my work with clients, I strive to develop a strong working relationship where they feel safe to discuss their values, goals, and concerns.
