Life can be very difficult at times, and I want to help. I have had the opportunity to train in a variety of therapeutic modalities, making me uniquely qualified to utilize the interventions that are most appropriate for each of my clients. In order to determine the most appropriate form of treatment, I collaborate with each of my clients to determine the issues they would like to address and the goals they would like to achieve. We are then in a better position to determine the most efficacious treatment modality.

Our goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life worth celebrating. We all experience moments that leave us feeling hopeless, sad, frustrated, angry, or frightened. However, life is not meant to be lived in that place of darkness. While we can't change the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. The mission of Lifestyle Consultant Services is to improve the quality of mental health and substance abuse services by reducing stigma and by protecting the rights of the individual who suffers from mental illness and/or substance abuse. By identifying the pain and suffering experienced by citizens in our community and addressing them with care, we aim to strengthen and promote health and well being. Suboxone is the combination of buprenorphine (partial opioid agonist) and naloxone (opioid antagonist - Narcan). The combination is either 2 mg/0.5 mg or 8 mg/2 mg. Suboxone is a sublingual film (it dissolves under the tongue).

My extensive experience includes working with service members/veterans and their families as well as children ages birth-five and their families. I enjoy working with adults with infertility issues and women or men who have experienced sexual trauma. I also work with adolescents who have different mental health challenges. I have been working in the mental health field for over fifteen years with a variety of clients including children and adolescents, families, and adults. I enjoy utilizing an eclectic approach to treatment, recognizing the uniqueness that each individual brings to treatment. I specialize in the treatment of exposure to trauma, providing treatment to survivors of sexual violence, childhood abuse, domestic violence, and military combat trauma. When addressing the needs of those who have survived trauma, I focus a great deal of attention on the neurological effects of exposure, as well as the mind and body connection.

Life is full of challenges, unexpected twists, and difficult decisions. Facing these things alone can be overwhelming. Therapy can be a great place to sort through life's challenges as well as explore core beliefs and develop healthy coping mechanisms to not only get through life, but enjoy it. As a therapist, I enjoy working with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, dealing with past trauma, life transitions, identity issues, and self-worth.
