My practice focuses on supporting individuals who are dealing with transition, life evaluation, chronic illness, loss and change. I have had the privilege of working with individuals who are dealing with caring for both children and aging parents, caring for a spouse or loved one or grieving the loss of an individual or relationship. I have also found that families benefit from dialogue regarding changes in roles within the family system as members get older and more/less dependent. As a young child, Lisette knew that she was called to "help others." Therefore, she decided to pursue something in the human service field. She graduated in 2004, with her BS in psychology from University of North Carolina at Pembroke. In 2009, she received her MSW from Fayetteville State University.
