I have been in practice for 30 years as a clinical psychologist. I provide a safe and supportive environment for my clients. I use mindfulness techniques for therapy in addition to a compassionate presence. These approaches include mindfulness to resolving situational depression, teaching clients to overcome overwhelming emotional situations, relaxation techniques to quiet your mind and body, and therapy to assist each client to function each day with calmness and clarity. I am a very proactive therapist, allowing individuals to explore their own thoughts, feelings, behavior patterns, and develop an action plan that best suits their personal growth.

In 2000, I began my career providing counseling services in a treatment center and have continued to specialize in coping methods vs. "using." Relationships are sacred. I work with all arrangements of families (CNM & polyamory). Expert family/couples counseling requires expert training. The Gottman Method is taught in three levels and I completed all three in 2017. My intensive couples approach is successful in improving communication and provides many tools and results in a reasonable time frame.
