I specialize in helping freethinking women, sexual and gender minorities, and nontraditional couples who have already overcome so much, but find that something keeps holding them back. I help people decidedly outside the mainstream, who aren't looking for a professional to fit them back into conformity. I work best with individuals and couples who already have some practice with self-reflection but you now need a fresh perspective and stronger support. I enjoy helping diverse people, in terms of relationship style, abilities, brain type, or cultural identities. I also specialize in recovery from cults or narcissistic abuse.

I'm passionate about helping adults and couples find healing, empowerment, growth, and meaning in their lives. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, relationship and attachment issues, life transitions, and grief. I'm especially dedicated to working with LGBTQIA+ and nonmonogamous clients. I practice from a humanistic standpoint, integrating psychodynamic, behavioral, and mindfulness-based strategies drawn from a variety of approaches in order to personalize therapy to the individual client’s values, goals, and strengths.

Feeling fractured from your once-strong sense of self can be confusing, isolating, and painful. Oftentimes these feelings can arise from societal pressures to conform, living in a sex-negative society, or relationship and systemic trauma. Sex & relationship therapy can be a good fit for improving the relational quality of your life and accessing desire as a tool for living well. Accepting New Patients! You're a mother who has tried therapy. You felt heard and supported but you don't feel different, and motherhood has made everything more intense! You understand your past more and maybe even feel like the expert on yourself. When the past comes up you cry, tense up, get defensive, yell, people please, isolate yourself, feel guarded, helpless, or even voiceless. You're scared it impacts you as a mom, partner/spouse, friend, and woman. You feel anxious, unheard, unsatisfied, unsafe, or unloved. Sometimes you think, "I suck!" You desperately want to release what swirls around your head and body but feel stuck.

I can provide counseling from a Christian perspective and also offer therapy from a non Christian focus. My practice centers on dealing with Life's issues in general while also having a focus on trauma. Not only is there a concentration on individuals, the scope of my practice also includes marriage and relationship counseling, family counseling, and even group therapy. Overall, I promote building self esteem and treating all clients with value and dignity no matter your background, lifestyle, culture or ethnicity. There is also a focus on helping clients overcome mistakes and poor choices. Finally, "Rapha" means "to heal."

I am a certified EMDR therapist specialize in treating trauma and PTSD + c-PTSD for women and LGBTQ+ people, and neurodivergent folks. Utilizing ERP & I-CBT, I work with clients to get their life back from anxiety & OCD. I have been working directly with clients for over 14 years. In particular, I work with people who have experienced traumas that have historically not been seen, like ableism, oppression, attachment trauma, burnout, intergenerational trauma, sexual assault, religious trauma, emotional abuse, discrimination, and living in a colonized and capitalist society.

I specialize in offering trauma-informed therapy to LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent adults residing in Missouri. As a queer and trans individual myself, my focus is on co-creating a safe and affirming environment for folks to thrive. I hold space for clients to explore and process their experiences of grief, complex trauma, and challenges stemming from the impacts of living in a traumatic and oppressive society. I particularly enjoy working with queer and neurodiverse individuals who are interested in taking a more deliberate approach to their personal growth and who wish to develop a deeper connection with themselves and their bodies.
