I specialize in working with individuals (of all ages) who are neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, OCD, gifted, etc.) and I often work with children and teens who are in foster care or are adopted. That is why I practice mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing (MI), cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT), eye-movement, desensitization, and reprocessing (EMDR).

I work with people that are struggling with anxiety, depression, life events/traumas, bipolar disorder, teen/child issues, couples counseling, finding purpose and many others.

I offer individual counseling, mindfulness training, EMDR, and life coaching through video chatting. Common focus areas include: personal growth and development, career issues, lifestyle issues, assertive communication, self-esteem, ADHD, anger management, persistent mental health problems, addictions, trauma, and disability. I enjoy positive psychology and prefer to focus on solutions, strengths, and assets. I feel it is important to view each person from their unique cultural experience with a nonjudgmental stance. I believe in the biopsychosocial model and understand health and functioning as being systemic in nature.

I like to have choices! As a therapist, I offer different modalities for my clients. I am trained in EFT (tapping), Breathwork for individuals/groups and Somatic therapy. As we experience life there are struggles, obstacles, transitions and adjustments. Some of these blocks are from childhood or adolescence and some are happening today. How do we live our life in a genuine/authentic way? How do we transform? Starting the process to healing can be a vulnerable and unbelievable place. Allowing someone to walk with you can be the first step.

I understand that beginning therapy is not easy and takes many people out of their comfort zone. I believe in a warm and nurturing environment that allows clients to work at their own pace.
