My name is Burton Rogers, I specialize in mental health and substance use concerns. I am a DBT informed therapist who assists clients with building skills to deal with intense emotions. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is treatment for people that struggle with emotion regulation. It is an evidence based treatment for a range of problems including Impulsivity, Depression, Anxiety, Substance Abuse, Self Harm, Anger Outbursts, and Relationship Problems.
I was born and raised in the inner city of Kansas City, and my experiences have given me a unique insight into the particular concerns of people from that background.
