I am a Licensed Master of Social Work and am currently undertaking clinical supervision with Kelly Caul, MSW, LCSW to becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I provide therapeutic services to adolescents, 13 years and older, and adults of all ages. I enjoy working with individuals across diverse backgrounds and identities with a specific joy to work with LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals. I focus in supporting individuals navigating struggles such as anxiety, dissociation, complex relational trauma, grief, abuse, substance use & life transitions.

I know reaching out for help can be daunting and overwhelming. I am here to make this process easier for you. I have worked with individuals and families from differing backgrounds, experiences, and concerns. My counseling style is strength-based, meaning I like to focus on the many positive traits you already possess and work collaboratively to reach the goals you would like to achieve. I have extensive experience working with individuals that have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, phobias, LGBTQIA+ related concerns, and non-monogamous relationships.

I'm passionate about helping adults and couples find healing, empowerment, growth, and meaning in their lives. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, relationship and attachment issues, life transitions, and grief. I'm especially dedicated to working with LGBTQIA+ and nonmonogamous clients. I practice from a humanistic standpoint, integrating psychodynamic, behavioral, and mindfulness-based strategies drawn from a variety of approaches in order to personalize therapy to the individual client’s values, goals, and strengths.

Are you just f-ing tired? A car accident left you emotionally paralyzed. An assault shook up your life. A recent medical diagnosis or crisis has you questioning what's next. All the "why" questions are flying through your head and the constant noise is driving you nuts. You want things to make sense. You want to feel like yourself again. Most of all, you want to go back in time to the thing that changed your body and do everything in your power to prevent in from happening. The problem is, no one prepared you for this and no one really understands how to help.

Accepting New Patients! You're a mother who has tried therapy. You felt heard and supported but you don't feel different, and motherhood has made everything more intense! You understand your past more and maybe even feel like the expert on yourself. When the past comes up you cry, tense up, get defensive, yell, people please, isolate yourself, feel guarded, helpless, or even voiceless. You're scared it impacts you as a mom, partner/spouse, friend, and woman. You feel anxious, unheard, unsatisfied, unsafe, or unloved. Sometimes you think, "I suck!" You desperately want to release what swirls around your head and body but feel stuck.

I specialize in helping freethinking women, sexual and gender minorities, and nontraditional couples who have already overcome so much, but find that something keeps holding them back. I help people decidedly outside the mainstream, who aren't looking for a professional to fit them back into conformity. I work best with individuals and couples who already have some practice with self-reflection but you now need a fresh perspective and stronger support. I enjoy helping diverse people, in terms of relationship style, abilities, brain type, or cultural identities. I also specialize in recovery from cults or narcissistic abuse.

As an Art Therapist (ATR), I support the mental health needs of my clients through a balance of traditional therapeutic techniques (such as Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavior, Internal Family Systems, and Person-Centered therapies) and the creative, collaborative, and intuitive approach of Art Therapy. I work with clients from childhood through adulthood. Some people may be surprised to hear that you can do Art Therapy via telehealth, but I've found that being able to engage in therapy from the comfort and safety of your own home can be as healing (if not more) than being in person.
