Now accepting online clients! I am a board certified telemental health counselor providing online counseling for residents of Missouri. I currently offer online sessions for individuals, couples, and families. I have worked for several large community mental health agencies, a local college counseling center, provided psychotherapy for the University system and numerous co-occurring substance facilities. It is through these experiences that I continue to be passionate about helping all clients improve their lives, relationships and their mental health.

Feelings are messengers, and they often don't follow the rules of logic. However, emotions still carry important information about what we need, what we want, and what is (and isn’t) working. I will help guide you to listen to your emotions and experiences in a way that finally makes sense. It is my aim to provide insight so you are able to move from the long-held belief of, “What is wrong with me?” to “What is my pain trying to tell me?” We will work together to decode the confusion of emotions and access the inner strengths you already possess. I will guide you on your journey back to Yourself. You are worthy of that.

My experience with helping individuals and families overcome difficult challenges is my passion. I believe that it easier to find and build upon one's strengths than it is to focus primarily on fixing problems. Much of my time in therapy is spent on discovering creative solutions rather than talking too long just about what is wrong. I often involve the whole family and believe that every person is unique and requires an individualized approach. One size does not fit all.
