As part of a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, my service includes evaluation of multiple cognitive domains including memory, problem solving/reasoning, visual-spatial processing, language, basic motor skills, emotional status, and assessment of attention and academic functioning (ADHD, LD), as indicated. Findings from the neuropsychological evaluation are used to generate recommendations to assist in treatment planning across a variety of settings as well as suggesting compensatory strategies for any identified cognitive weaknesses and identifying resources for families. I offer timely and thorough evaluations, conduct individualized feedback with families, and provide a summary of the findings and recommendations.
A unique feature of my practice is that I have training and experience (clinical and research) across the lifespan and am therefore able to provide services and updated recommendations as individuals encounter new life challenges.
Dr. Martielli received her bachelor's in Psychology/Anthropology from Washington University - St. Louis and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saint Louis University. She completed an internship in Neuropsychology at the University of California - San Diego and a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology at Washington University School of Medicine.
