I believe, from the depth of my being, that we are all doing our very best with our current resources. I'm here to support your healing and help you reclaim the power over your suffering. My services are entirely through telehealth, and I provide a warm but real environment over my telehealth platform. I provide support to adults of all ages!

Beyond Healing Center is a therapy group committed to helping people find safety in connection through embodied healing practices. We practice an interdisciplinary health care approach that invites healers from various disciplines to join together under a shared language and conceptualization approach where interventions can be thoughtfully co-discovered and contextualized in the therapeutic journey. Our team is constantly growing which brings rich new disciplines to the treatment setting including psychotherapy, movement and yoga, massage, art, and physical wellness.

I have worked with a wide array of clients, especially in my past career in Adventure Based Counseling. I have walked therapeutic, and literal, paths with people from all walks of life and with concerns ranging from depression and anxiety to personality disorders and trauma survivors. My ideal client is one that shows up physically, mentally, and emotionally for themselves. Healing, repairing, and integrating can be hard work. I work with individuals with a wide range of concerns. My clinical specialties and interests include disordered eating, body image, obesity and weight loss, LGBTQ, gender identity, phase of life transitions, grief/loss, relationships, assertive communication, issues related to trauma/adverse life experiences, holistic health and wellness, self-compassion, and promoting self-awareness and insight. My background includes significant experience in the delivery of behavioral health care including individual psychotherapy and inpatient, intensive-outpatient, and outpatient groups. In addition to my experience with psychotherapy services, I also complete psychological assessments, provide supervision to pre-doctoral psychology interns, and consultation services.

I'm a small town girl who has gone through life with divorce, caring for a child with special needs, loss, and love. Healthy sexuality is our objective. Sex is an integral and balanced part of life experience. Sexual behaviors become problematic when they violate vows and values, are dishonest, harmful to others, put you at risk, diminish your joy in life, act as a barrier filled with shame, self-contempt, and isolation. Sexual health creates intimacy and closeness, characterized by trust, respect, joy and safety. Sexual health can be achieved by sex addicts in recovery. The trauma and addiction model identifies the abuse, trauma and internal system that underwrites addiction and does not view problematic behavior as personal or moral failure.
