I specialize in individual therapy with adults and young adults. If you are an overthinker, a perfectionist, a people-pleaser, feel overwhelmed with the uncertainty of the future, or are burdened with a near-constant level of anxiety, let's talk. I use a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy approach which means that we will be spending less time talking about the history of problems in your life, and more time building solutions for the present and future.
We will focus specifically on managing your thoughts and mindset, adjusting your behaviors to best move you toward your goals, and learning "brain" strategies to quiet your mind. Nobody comes to therapy without having tried some other things first. So, you already know a bit about what works for you and what doesn’t. In addition, I will share new strategies.
You also have an idea of what you want your ideal life to be like. Once we can shift our focus from “problems/past” to “solutions/future," all things are possible. I invite you to be my teacher.
